Aardvark : Use, Commands and Benefits

No one admires a know-it-all, right? Until they need to understand anything that know-it-all knows and on the other hand, few people are helping by nature and want to provide advice but except your name is Miss Manners, you might not get asked.
Aardvark is a free service which is great fun that compares up question askers with confident answerers. It considers itself as a “Social Questions & Answers” and this is suitable for the times when one needs a subjective thought “Which is the finest Twitter app for iPhone 4?” rather than an easily Google-able fact “How much does Twitterific price?”. Moreover you get to provide your two cents on other people’s queries while keeping your privacy intact. In-short It is like a piece of creative useful merge of Yahoo Answers and Twitter, rapid answers by real human beings, to brainy and not so smart questions. It works like a bridge to get discover complicated answers even about the algorithms of Some huge search engines like Google and yahoo.
To enjoy this fun, go for vark.com and make an account. One can also sign in their Facebook and participating Google account to see if any of his/her friend is already participating But you would not typically interact with Aardvark through its webpage instead, you IM, email, tweet it, just like you are chatting to a real buddy. When one is done with setting up IM, email and Twitter accounts at vark.com/profile/accounts, one can IM with aardvark-g211@vark.com and email mailto:ardvark@vark.com simply or tweet and direct-message @vark on Twitter. An iPhone application which is free also lets you ask questions.
Following one of those procedures mentioned above, you just ask a simple-English question lik if I am interested in LCD Soundsystem, what other brands should I look for? What’s the best Japanese cafeteria in New York City? Someone knows a tasty recipe for family dinner? Aardvark analyzes the topic of question and comes to your extended network, Ones name and city are displayed to others who dib on that relevant topic or hold knowledge about the theme of question. Each one in the service would add the topics that he/she will answer about (regions, technology, interests, merchandises, items, hobbies and so on). Aardvark dings those individuals over IM or mail accounts and their replies get delivered on to you.
Seems appealing, you may be thinking, “excluding who wants to get questions over IM all day?” Relax. Firstly Aardvark would ask if you are available and preview the topic of question and if you don’t respond or hit back “busy,” it doesn’t bother you again. If one replies “away” it would turn it off for 7 days at a time. If one says “sure,” it brings the question. One can also type “pass” to pass it or with the “tag” command one can simply give the question an improved subject label. If it brings a question about a matter one isn’t competent in, typing “mute” would stop conveying further questions from that topic. To know about all commands anytime one can type “help” for the list of commands.
And as this is actual individuals answering, one can even go back and forth. All the time it is humble to thank the dear answerer but if one likes he/she can ask follow-up questions. Aardvark keeps on passing passes messages so one’s own email and IM addresses aren’t out there. One can get some certainly useful guidelines. Have fun and you are welcomed to add me to your network.

Christmas Gifts for Steve Jobs

This year Christmas knocked the door of Apple’s well-known CEO Steve Jobs a bit earlier. In the beginning of this month MarketWatch declared Steve Jobs as CEO of the decade. Now Britain's Financial Times publicized the news which states that they have selected Steve Jobs their 2010 Person of the Year.

Accordin to Financial Times Steve Jobs’s aptitude of mature salesmanship, guts to constantly press forward and decision to not allow Apple for a breather on their significant achievements brought Steve Jobs into lime light:

"When Steven Paul Jobs first hit the headlines, he was younger even than Mark Zuckerberg is now. Long before it was cool to be a nerd, his formative role in popularising the personal computer, and Apple’s initial public offering on Wall Street – which came when Mr Jobs was still only 25 – made him the tech industry’s first rock star... Now, three decades on, he has secured his place in the foremost ranks of the West Coast tech titans who have done so much to shape the world around the turn of the millennium"

So with all the joys, celebrations of this beautiful Cristmas lets go do a virtual hats off for Apple’s CEO Steve Jobs: Thanks for the last three decades of awesome contribution in technology world. We can’t hardly wait to see what you and your think tank crew is planning to introduce now.
